Girls on steps

Papa, Victoria, Tamara and Archibald sat on a bench and ate the ice creams quickly, before they melted. Joey looked out of the sailor suit pocket his nose twitching. Papa gave a stern talk to all three, especially to Archibald. Then I noticed her on the tram, and then again when we were looking at the chimpanzees. It seemed obvious she was following us, for some reason. While you were all resting, or so I thought, I looked for her."

"Did you find her?" asked Victoria. "As soon as she saw that I was coming towards her, she picked up her skirt and almost ran for the side entrance." said Papa. "It is a mystery," said Victoria. Archibald spoke in a small and rather sad voice, "My mother always used to wear green." Papa, understanding Archibald's sadness, said quickly, "Enough excitements for one day, home to Miss Drew and lunch". And all they went to catch the tram for home.
